Editorial Collaboration
Content is distributed through the network in order to drive traffic and increase impact of members' work. INN creates member opportunities to republish and redistribute certain content from other members, and the network offers members the unique ability to localize content.
Technology
INN members benefit from access to digital tools to assist with distribution of content. This includes a WordPress content management system developed for independent news publishers, guidance on website hosting, and free training on software.
Revenue Streams
INN members have the ability to participate in potential revenue opportunities, including grant offerings and partnerships.
Back Office Functions
INN leverages the size of the network to negotiate and provide highly preferred rates for toolsets that can be used for journalistic and business purposes.
Marketing and Public Relations
INN actively works to promote members and get member content out to the widest possible audience, including experts both within and outside the network. INN is an umbrella organization. Once a member has been accepted into the network, each individual organization has the ability to opt into programs and services as they see fit for the use of their own organization.
