Membership in the Investigative News Network connects you with the premier organizations in investigative journalism, those who are holding the powerful accountable and serving the public interest. INN is open to membership to non-profit news outlets, who must comply with membership guidelines.
INN Members enjoy a range of benefits, from free and discounted services and programs, to being an integral part of a local, regional, national and international network filled with opportunities to collaborate on impactful investigative reports.
Here are some of the many reasons to join INN:
EDITORIAL COLLABORATION:
- Content is distributed through the INN website and widgets, in order to drive traffic back to member websites.
- INN creates member opportunities to republish and redistribute certain content from other members on your site.
- The network offers members the unique ability to localize content.
TECHNOLOGY:
INN members benefit from access to tools provided by the network to assist with distribution of content, including:
- Eqentia semantic engine
- Taxonomy access
- Guidance on best practices in publishing and audience engagement

INN is an umbrella organization. Once a member has been accepted into the network, each individual organization has the ability to opt into programs and services as they see fit for the use of their own organization.
